Following Cobra and Albator, it’s now the turn of Tsukasa Hojo’s legendary City Hunter to join Oniri Creations’ vintage license lineup. /nAccompanied by his partner Kaori Makimura, Ryo Saeba is a hitman operating in Shinjuku. /nHiring him couldn’t be simpler: just write “XYZ” on the station bulletin board. /nOur two heroes are depicted here with the iconic Mini Cooper, following what appears to be a rather explosive shootout. Oniri was keen to incorporate as many elements as possible into this statue that capture the essence of the manga. Weapons, of course, Kaori’s legendary 100-ton hammer, the bird from the logo on the Shinjuku manhole cover, the XYZ engraved on the streetlight, and even a poster for what might well be a local peep show! /nLimited to 999 copies, the statue comes with its own LED system, two interchangeable heads, and a certificate of authenticity.

Ryo’s nonchalant pose, with his jacket billowing in the wind, shows just how fearless our hero is.
Proudly armed with his trusty .357 Magnum, his enemies had better watch out.
Kaori isn’t one to shy away from a fight either, equipped with a rocket launcher and sitting on a crate of ammunition.
A legendary vehicle from the franchise, the famous Mini Cooper serves as the third character here.
Riddled with bullets, a flat tire—all this damage highlights the violence and excitement of the scene that just unfolded.
Its headlights are equipped with an LED system for a stunning light-up effect!
Light-up is also featured on the streetlight. As is customary at Oniri, the skin parts are made of semi-translucent resin to add depth, extra realism, and, above all, bring the characters to life.
The same goes for smoke effects; we always prefer semi-translucent resin over opaque resin.
Although this is a manga license, we couldn’t overlook the equally iconic character designs from the anime.
Each character will therefore have an alternate head. The sculpting of the original-version heads was supervised by Tsukasa Hojo himself.
